Poptropica Lorax Written Walkthrough

You will see all of the new ads in Poptropica for the Lorax Experience while this adventure is available. You can either click on one of the ads to go to the Lorax Adventure, or take your blimp to Game Show Island and then run to your right on Main Street to enter the Lorax Adventure.

Getting Started

Once you enter the Lorax Adventure, click on the sign on the left to get your Lorax Notifier that will be added to your Poptropica menu at the top of the screen. You can head to your left to see Grammy Norma, who won’t let you in to Trufulla valley until you have the right items for her: a nail, 15 coins and a seed. Head right a bit and the Lorax will pop out and tell you a bit about Thneedville. Head right a little more and then speak with the lumberjack / woodcutter. He’ll tell you that he will provide you with a special seed if you can find him some soil. Let’s get to work!

Thneedville

Head to your right and enter Thneedville. If you don’t already know the story of The Lorax, by Dr. Seuss, Thneedsville is a town that has no trees or nature of any kind. You’ll be able to see that right away when you enter it in Poptropica! Head over to your right until the Lorax pops up and mentions that the shop has a nail on the floor inside. Enter the shop with “Thneeds” on top and speak to the Shopkeeper. He’ll give you a Lorax clothign item. Then, run to your left, and pick up the nail. Exit the shop and then jump straight up and a bit to the left to find the seed, which might look like a snail shell to you. Keep jumping up and you’ll see coins on the tops of the buildings. Keep jumping around on top, to your right and your left and you’ll collect all 15 coins. You’ll be awarded a Disco Tree for completing this part of the Lorax quest. Notice the blimp flying around Thneedville? Remember that blimp, it’ll be important later!

Truffula Valley

Now that you have all of the pieces, Grammie Norma all the way to your left will unlock the door to Truffula Valley and you will be permitted to enter. The Lorax will introduce you to Truffula Valley and encourage you to play the games. The two games are Dodgeberry Blast and Don’t Whack the Lorax. They’re quite fun games and, if you score over 1000 points on each one, you’ll get access to a free download of a coloring page. Once you’ve had fun with the games, head to your left and then start jumping up and to your right to the top of the hill to collect the dirt. Leave Truffula Valley to the main Lorax area and speak with the woodchopper who will give you the Truffula Tree seed. Head to your right and enter Thneedville once again — you’re almost there!

 Return to Thneedville

As soon as you arrive and run a bit into Thneedville, you will be chased by the mayor’s henchmen who want the seed. The Thneed will offer you his scooter, click on it to jump on and ride to the center of town to plant the Truffula seed. Remember the blimp from before? It’s now chasing you and using a weapon to open up holes in the street. Race your scooter as fast as you can, avoiding the obstacles as you go! Once you make it to the end, you’ll plant the seed and the Truffula tree will grow instantly, right before your eyes! You’ll be awarded the Lorax mustache costume item, along with an Orange Lorax t-shirt for your avatar! Congratulations, you’ve saved the Thneeds in Thneedville and completed the Lorax Experience in Poptropica!
