Poptropica released a new adventure a couple of days ago entitled “The Lorax Experience”, in which one must save the town of Thneedville by following directives set forth by the quest’s mascots. The adventure, located on Main Street of Game Show island, is one of Poptropica’s biggest and greatest advertisement quests.

The Poptropica creators rolled out a new mobile application update this morning, February 17, 2011. The update includes two new in-app purchases: Ghost Story and S.O.S. island! I’ve already bought both of the islands, so you can check them out below:
In my opinion, I feel that Poptropica should focus more on releasing older island walkthroughs via their mobile application as websites like ours provide the newer guides to you for free.

If you’re not aware, Poptropica’s S.O.S. island was released to everyone today. If you’re not a member and wish to complete the adventure, you can now do so. If you need additional help while on your quest to the island medallion, our Poptropica Cheats for S.O.S. Island are always available.
Members: As S.O.S. island went public today, you can no longer obtain the Sea Captain costume via the Poptropica store.

The Poptropica creators’ uploaded the Vampire’s Curse island official trailer to their YouTube channel today. The trailer contains a variety of sneak peeks that we can expect to see as we play through the adventure when it’s released. Captain Crawfish did not mention anything about how longer we’ll have to wait for the island to become available, however, it seems as though it’ll be very soon considering he stated that it’ll be a good month for Poptropicans not too long ago.

Poptropica has released two big pieces of news! First, S.O.S. island is opening up to everyone in less than a week on February 16th! Second, there’s something that you may not know… The Sea Captain “Members Only” costume is only available for a limited time and the costume will be gone from the Poptropica Store when SOS Island officially opens up to everyone on February 16th, 2012!
Just make sure to log in to Poptropica and pick up the Sea Captain costume before Thursday, February 16th because you won’t have another chance after that! I almost forgot to buy the Sea Captain costume myself, so I’m glad Poptropica gave us this reminder!

Captain Crawfish announced today on the Poptropica blog that Vampire’s Curse island will soon be coming to the virtual world. He mentioned that he’d have all of the latest news in regards to Vampire’ s Curse island within the next few weeks. For now, he suggested that you play Poptropica’s newest-released island, S.O.S., or any of the other 23 available islands (if you’re a non-member).

With the Deep Sea Diving Suit that comes with the quest, you can stay underwater much longer. Black Widow announced today on the Poptropica blog that the exclusive members-only S.O.S. Gear Pack will make its way into the Poptropica store tomorrow at the same time as the islands’s release (11:00AM ET).
